Value Jet launches cheap flight operations
 

With many passengers emptying your wallets as a result of high cost of local air travels,  Value Jet will within the next 24 hours begin to offer cheap and affordable flight fares on domestic air travels within the country. 

On Monday, October 10, 2022, Value Jet will start commercial flight operations in Nigeria. The airline plans to start the first flights from its hub at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos to Abuja, Port Harcourt, Asaba and Jos. 

According to the Chairman of ValueJet, Kunle Soname, during the launch event, said that the airline is planning to offer affordable flights to Nigeria that may not be able to afford high-cost flight tickets.

“ValueJet is hardly a stranger in the industry and all operational insights from previous partnerships have been applied in building our business plan and propositions. We have identified a niche in the sector, the need for fair pricing amidst the rising cost of commercial aviation to the average customer compounded by tough economic realities for air operators,” he said.

In terms of Value Jet planned destinations, Trevor Henry, chief commercial officer said for a start, the airline would start operation on October 10, 2022, with Lagos- Abuja- Lagos twice daily; Lagos-Port Harcourt-Lagos- Asaba and Lagos-Jos-Lagos. 

He announced future expansion plans for Lagos-Abuja- Kano, Lagos- Abuja- Yola and Lagos-Benin- Lagos. Before the end of the month, Value Jet will cover Warri, Benin, Yola, Jos and Owerri.

The Airline routes are Abuja, Asaba, Benin

Lagos, Jos, Owerri, Port Harcourt, Warri and Yola. The cost of a flight ticket varies according to the date and the seat available.There are 3 classes of services ok offer upon resumption of domestic flight operations. These are Value lite, Value Xtra and Value Premium. The different classes have different rules and costs.
