Many drivers drive without taking necessary precautions and adhering to the road safety rules. Accidents are caused mostly by the driver’s carelessness while driving on the road. To reduce accidents and save lives here are road safety tips every driver should know about.

1. Stay Alert –

As a driver it is necessary to actively pay attention to your surrounding environment and actions as well as those of the drivers around you when you are driving.

2. Avoid Assumptions –

It’s important for you not to make assumptions of what the other driver is supposed to do and take the necessary caution.

3. Use Turn Signals –

Always use your trafficator when switching lanes or changing routes. Do not make sudden stops or lane changes

4. Buckle Up –

Though most drivers neglect wearing of seat belts, It is essential for you to wear your seat belt while driving. Aside being fined for not wearing a seatbelt, you could get injured in a case of auto crash.

5. Follow Traffic Signals –

13. Proper Vehicle Maintenance –

Carryout proper maintenance check on your vehicle before hitting the road. Ensure that your automobile stays in good working condition. This includes keeping fluids topped off, performing schedule engine maintenance, making certain tires have plenty of air, and ensuring that the vehicle’s exterior lights are functional at all times.
