FG to shut down third mainland bridge
The Federal Government has revealed plans to shut down Third mainland bridge for a period of six months with effect from 24th July, 2020.
According to the Olukayode Popoola, the Federal Controller ofWorks in Lagos State. Popoola made it clear that the bridge was to carry out repairs on the roads.
He added that work will commence in the repair of the bridge while making consultations on the repair of about 11.8 km bridge.
Popoola said the government is working with other agencies to ensure East flow of traffic during the repair
