Yobe International Cargo Airport Ready For Test Landing
The Damaturu International Cargo Airport, Yobe is ready for test landing which will commence by Friday.
The Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, confirmed the development while receiving the Chief of Army staff, Tukur Buratai for the inspection of the newly constructed helipad in Damaturu.
Buni commended the president Muhammadu Buhari, the Service Chiefs, officers and men of the Nigeria armed forces for the new zeal in the fight against terrorism.
He expressed the commitment of his administration in providing the necessary support for the entrenchment of a sustainable peace and security across the state.
The Air Chief Abubakar Sadiq, said the helipad will improve logistics support to the fight against insurgency in Yobe state.
He commended Yobe state government for the support and working synergy with the security agencies in the fight against terrorism.
