Lagos government issues traffic advisory as Tinubu arrives for mass political rally today

The Lagos state ministry of transportation says that some parts of Lagos metropolis will have heavy vehicular inflow due to the arrival of the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the state, and a reception where mass political rally is planned for him.
Under the traffic advisory issued by the state government and seen by Business AM, roads leading to the presidential wing of Muritala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos today, Sunday, June 19, 2022 could build up from 10am. The mass political rally will take place at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
Huge party members would be mobilised in the aforementioned routes and the following roads will be congested Surulere, Coker Aguda, Itire/Ikate, Mushin, Odi-Olowo, Yaba, Mainland, Somolu, Bariga, Oshodi-Isolo and Environs
While state ministry of transportation is advising motorists to use alternative routes to Victoria Island, the commuting public are also asked to ensure advisory compliance due to the anticipated heavy vehicular novement and traffic fridlock today Sunday, June 19, 2022.
