Hyundai recalls 714 Santa Fes
Hyundai is recalling 714 Sante Fes in the US , namely 293 Sante Fe hybrids and 421 Sante Fe plug-in hybrids built between October 25, 2021 and December 1, 2021, in which the digital instrument panel may display the data upside down.
The company clarifies that it is not aware of any accident or injury caused by this problem, but points out that because of this the risk of accident increases significantly, due to the illegible instrument panel.
According to Hyundai, the problem comes from a faulty resistor and is activated at “extremely low temperatures”. In all recalled cars, the company will replace the digital panel with a new one.
