Gov Makinde inaugurates SaRSAC
Engr Seyi Makinde The Executive Governor Of Oyo State today Tuesday 8th February 2022, inaugurated the Oyo State Road Safety Advisory Council (SaRSAC) at the Governors Office ,Agodi Secretariat Ibadan.
The Oyo State Road Safety Advisory Council Committee with the Chief Of Staff Hon. Segun Ogunwuyi as the Chairman and other members were inaugurated today.
In his inaugural address His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE affirmed that “there is no better time to inaugurate (SaRSAC) than now, When the rate of RTC is increasing by the day as a result of the improved road network in the State.
Furthermore, he advised the Advisory Council (SaRSAC) to replicate same in all the Local Government Areas of the State.
In addition he promised the support of his administration to SaRSAC .
Subsequently, The Sector Commander , CC Uche W. Chukwurah Fsi Presented the National Road Safety Strategy II as a working document to His Excellency and He then presented same to the Chairman SaRSAC and encouraged the committee to set up the Technical working group (TWG) in order to achieve the goals of NRSS.
The Inauguration ended with a group Photograph Session .
