Truck loaded with Almajirai intercepted in Ogun
The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency(TRACE) have intercepted a truck loaded with goods and 30 suspected Almajirai from the Northern part of Nigeria.
According to TRACE officials the suspected Almajirai reportedly hid under bags of pepper to avoid being caught by security agents.
TRACE added that the truck was sent back at Sango Ota, Ogun state after it was nabbed by it’s officials.
The truck was flagged by TRACE officials. The driver was told to come down and open the tarpaulin for inspection only for them to discover 30 persons hiding in the truck
The Iveco truck with license plate Kano XG172 KNG was supposed to carry only goods but attempted smuggling passengers into Ogun state before it was nabbed.
