NADDC, House Committee On Industry Visits Auto Assembly Plants in Lagos

The Director-General of the National Automotive Design & Devt. Council (NADDC), Chief Joseph Oluwemimo Osanipin on Wednesday this week led the House of Representative’s Committee on Industry, chaired by Hon. (Dr.) Enitan Dolapo Badru, on on a strategic oversight visit to three major automotive assembly plants; that includes CIG Motors, DAG Bajaj and Simba Group (TVS).

According to the NADDC boss, these assemblers stand as proof of Nigeria’s growing industrial strength and it’s readiness to lead the transformation of Africa’s automotive landscape.

During the visit to these automotive assembly plants, discussions focused on driving job creation, local content development, skills advancement and technology transfer as they are all vital pillars for deepening Nigeria’s industrial base and empowering local assemblers to thrive under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Osanipin noted that, the visit reaffirms the collective resolve of the NADDC to build stronger linkages between government and industry ensuring that every policy translates into real impact, sustainable investment and inclusive growth.

The NADDC helmsman expressed his appreciation goes to Hon. (Dr.) Enitan Dolapo Badru and members of the House Committee on Industry for their continued partnership and commitment to advancing Nigeria’s automotive development journey.
