Kojo Motors Plans 3-Day Maiden Auto Show As Nigeria’s Seat of Power Hosts Award Winning Brands

Kojo Motors Limited; one of the leading distributors of Toyota brand in Nigeria has unveiled plans for the maiden edition of the Kojo Auto Show 2026, a three-day automotive exhibition designed to bring together leading vehicle brands, industry stakeholders, investors, fleet operators and motoring enthusiasts in Nigeria’s capital city.
The inaugural show is scheduled to hold inside the Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja from December 3 to 5, 2026. The automotive showpiece is being positioned as more than a conventional automobile exhibition.
Organisers say it will create a dynamic platform for showcasing automotive innovation, facilitating business connections, stimulating investment and providing Nigerians with direct access to a broad spectrum of mobility solutions.

According to information from Kojo Motorshow organizing committee, Toyota, Jetour, OMAA and Yutong are expected to take centre stage at the exhibition, alongside a curated vendor market and sponsor showcases.
The initiative comes at a time when Nigeria’s automotive industry is undergoing significant transformation, with affordability, vehicle financing, alternative energy, local assembly, after-sales support and sustainable mobility increasingly dominating conversations around the future of transportation.
Kojo Motors, an integrated automobile dealership with operations in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Benin City, has built its business around vehicle sales, genuine spare parts, maintenance, repairs and other automotive services.
The company said the Auto Show is part of its broader effort to deepen engagement across the automotive value chain and create an environment where businesses and consumers can interact directly with vehicle brands and automotive solution providers.
Chisom Oguegbu, Executive Director, Kojo Motors Limited, said the event was conceived with a clear objective of connecting the automotive industry with the wider Nigerian public while opening new avenues for collaboration and investment.

“The Kojo Auto Show is our invitation to Nigerians to experience the future of mobility in one place. We want to create a platform where innovation meets commerce, where brands can engage directly with customers, and where investors and industry stakeholders can discover opportunities across Nigeria’s rapidly evolving automotive landscape”.
Oguegbu added that Abuja was deliberately chosen because of its strategic importance as the nation’s political, business and institutional centre.
The choice of Abuja also reflects Kojo Motors’ growing presence in the Federal Capital Territory, where the company operates a sales and after-sales outlet.
Industry observers say the event could provide an important platform for conversations around the changing face of mobility in Nigeria, particularly as consumers and transport operators seek vehicles that offer better value, efficiency, durability and lower operating costs.
The show is expected to feature vehicle displays, product demonstrations, networking opportunities and engagements between manufacturers, dealers, financial institutions, fleet operators, government agencies, entrepreneurs and prospective vehicle buyers.
Kojo Motors has also indicated that the exhibition will provide opportunities for businesses to participate as exhibitors and sponsors, creating a potentially valuable marketplace for automotive-related products and services.
The company’s ambition goes beyond the inaugural edition. Kojo Motors says it intends to develop the Auto Show into a major automotive exhibition capable of attracting wider participation and positioning Abuja as an important destination for automotive commerce and innovation.
With the countdown to December already underway, expectations are mounting that the Kojo Auto Show 2026 could become one of the year’s most significant gatherings of automotive brands and mobility stakeholders in Nigeria.
The company executive director noted that, for Kojo Motors, the ultimate objective appears to be bigger than putting vehicles on display: it is about building connections, stimulating commerce and contributing to the next chapter of Nigeria’s automotive story.
“We are not simply putting cars and buses on display,” Oguegbu said. “We are creating an experience that brings the entire automotive ecosystem closer to the people and creates opportunities for partnerships that can move the industry forward”.
