FRSC Corp Marshal Re-iterates Commitment To Staff Capacity Devt, Reform Agenda

…..With A Book Written ln His Honour
The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed has reiterated commitment to capacity development of the personnel of the Corps and sustaining the ongoing reforms toward ensuring safer road transportation in the country.
He stated this in Abuja in his remarks at the unveiling of the book to mark his 365 days in office written by Deputy Corps Commander Sani Abdullahi.
According to Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed, his commitment to supporting the personnel to achieve success in productive ventures remain unwavering, warning however that his leadership would not condone indolence and indiscipline.
While commending the Author for his long standing contributions to the development of the FRSC and the good job he has done in putting the book together, he encouraged other personnel to engage only productive activities.
”It has been part of my policy to encourage personnel to actualize their dreams by showcasing their talents in any areas of their competence.
”That was why I gave the nod to the author to put his thoughts on paper in writing this book,” the Corps Marshal stated.
Deputy Corps Marshal Chidiebere Nkwonta who reviewed the book, commended the author for a job well done in packaging the book, encouraging everyone to read it.
Also speaking on the book, the Corps Public Education Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal Olusegun Ogungbemide commended the author for his diligence in writing the book, saying his past commitment to creating public awareness on the activities of the FRSC marks him as an outstanding personality among the officers.
in his introduction of the book, the Author stressed that he was inspired to write the book by the leadership qualities of the Corps Marshal and the positive impacts of his transformation agenda on the Corps in the last one year of his leadership of his leadership.
He thanked the Corps Marshal for his immense support and encouragement in writing the book.
The book titled, “Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed and His 365 Days of New Strides in FRSC” chronicles the reform agenda of Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed in the first one year of his appointment.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume who wrote the foreword to the book describes it as, “insightful and commendable.”
Sani Abdullahi is the Deputy Corps Commander in charge of Strategy in the office of the Corps Marshal, FRSC National Headquarters Abuja.
