Ford expands Ranger line-up with new single-cab, super-cab
Coming after few months of the launch of the double-cab Ranger bakkie at the end of last year, Ford South Africa has unveiled the single-cab and super-cab derivatives, set to go on sale this month.
The entire range is produced at Ford’s plant in Pretoria, following a multibillion-rand investment from the US manufacturer.
Ford South Africa general marketing manager, Doreen Mashinini said the company is delighted to expand the range with the start of production of the practical Ranger single-cab and spacious super-cab models, both of which fulfil the needs of small to medium businesses, large fleet operators, farmers and private customers.
Four single-cab models have been introduced to cater for workhorse applications, complemented by six super-cab variants that provide the versatility of an extended cab as well as a large cargo bay.
Included in the purchase price is a four-year/120 000 km warranty, four-year/unlimited distance roadside assistance and five-year/unlimited distance corrosion warranty. The recommended service interval is 15 000 km, or annually, whichever comes first.
