Former The Will Editor, Olaolu Olusina For Burial In Imodi, Ogun State August 15

The family of the former Editor of The Will Newspaper and Publisher of an Online Publication, Auto Report Africa, Mr Olaolu Olusina has announced that he will be buried in his home town , Imodi Via Ijebu – Ode, Ogun State on August 15, 2024. He died on Sunday July 21, 2024 after a protracted illness.

In a burial programme announced by his family , the Service of Songs for the Late Olaolu Olusina will hold at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) City of Refuge Zonal Headquarters located at 10 Honourable Duru Street, Beachland Estate, Arepo, Ogun State by 4pm on August 13, 2024.

The final burial service will hold at Saint Mathew Anglican Church , Imodi Via Ijebu Ode, Ogun State by 10am on August 15, 2024. He is survived by his wife and four children.

Olusina was a foremost journalist with strong track record. He made landmark achievements in the profession working with the defunct National Concord Newspaper, Insider Weekly Magazine and as one of the pioneer staff member of ThisDay Newspaper.

He was also a Weekend Editor at the defunct Union Newspaper for many years before he moved to The Will Newspaper where he also served as the Editor till this year and a member of the Nigeria Guild Editors, ( NGE).

He pulled out of The Will recently to concentrate on his new publication, Auto Report Africa Online Magazine and Digital Newspaper.

In a statement issued by Nigeria Auto Journalists Association though its Chairman, Mike Ochonma, the group said “We are deeply pained about the untimely death of Olaolu Olusina. During his lifetime, he was a good media professional who made his marks covering various beats and edited many titles. He was indeed outstanding in the journalism profession”.

“He was, calm, kind, generous and above all well grounded in the journalism profession. He will surely be missed by all of us at the NAJA”. Concluded Mike Ochonma.
