BMW X4 50 Jahre M Edition Launched In India

German luxury car manufacturer BMW has launched the X4 50 Jahre M Edition in India. Prices for the new BMW X4 50 Jahre M Edition start at Rs 72.9 lakh.

BMW X4 50 Jahre M Edition is offered in both petrol and diesel guises of the X4 SUV. The petrol variant – BMW X4 30i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition – is priced at Rs 72,90,000 while the diesel variant – BMW X4 30d M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition – is two lakhs dearer at Rs 74,90,000. The new 50 Jahre M Edition versions of the X4 command a Rs 1 lakh premium over their standard counterparts.

The new 50 Jahre M Edition variants of the X4 are unchanged mechanically compared to their standard counterparts. The 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine pushes out 248bhp at 5,200rpm and 350Nm of peak torque at 1,450rpm. The 3.0-litre diesel in the oil burner cranks out 261bhp at 4,000rpm and 620Nm of peak torque at 2,000rpm. Both engines send power to all four wheels via an 8-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox.

In terms of design, the BMW X4 50 Jahre M Edition sports a gloss black version of the large kidney grille that come with the X4 SUV. Other changes come in the form of the M aerodynamic package that adds body coloured front / rear apron and side sill covers. The M High Gloss Shadow line creates a visual black frame around the coupe-style windows which extends from the window recess cover, along the guide rail, mid pillars, to the base of the side-view mirrors and finally the roof rail. The rear bumper features anvil-style bumpers in high gloss black and vertically stacked reflectors. The tailpipe is also finished off in black.

Owners of the new BMW X4 50 Jahre M Edition can spec their SUV in either Black Sapphire or M Brooklyn Grey colourways. The BMW X4 50 Jahre M Edition rides on 20-inch alloy wheels behind which the M Sport Brake Callipers in Red High Gloss.

The interiors of the BMW X4 50 Jahre M Edition sports Leather Vernasca upholstery with Black decor stitching. M interior trim Aluminum Rhombicle dark with highlight trim finisher in Pearl Chrome is standard on the new X4 50 Jahre M Edition. The headliner is finished in anthracite with a galvanic embellishment and there is a large panoramic roof present as well.
