Toyota Nigeria wins triple at Motoring Journalists Award
…. Octogenerian Mike Ade.Ojo bags Pillar of Auto Industry award
One of the global market leaders in the automotive industry, Toyota has done it again in Nigeria following the triple awards carted away by Toyota Njgeeia Limited (TNL) at the last Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) Awards.
The NAJA awards which recently held in Lagos was another night of glitz and glamour which brought together auto Industry giants and leaders ofthe various auto brands marketed in Nigeria.
It was instuted to reward and recognize vehicle models that performed outstandingly well and rose above their peers within the years. Toyota (Nigeria) Limited (TNL)models shone like a million stars at the event winning three of the NAJA prized awards.
During the eventful night, Toyota Starlet, a new entrant in the company’s array of models won the Most Transformed Entrant Of The Year Award.
Toyota Hilux fondly nicknamed the work horse won the Pick-Up Of The Year award while the bus that Nigerians love, the Toyota Hiace won the Minibus Of The Year award.
High point of the night was the award of the Pillar Of Nigeria Auto Industry bestowed on the Chairman of TNL, Michael Ade. Ojo, also deservedly called Mr. Toyota in recognion of his invaluable contribuon to the industry spanning over 50 years. The awards were dedicated to customers for their loyalty to the brand and connued patronage
