Versat Automobile Limited has formally entered the Nigerian automotive market with the launch of its heavy-duty truck range, positioning after-sales support as a central pillar of its market strategy.

While product performance, engineering strength, and operational efficiency remain critical considerations for fleet operators, Versat says long-term customer confidence will be driven by the quality and reliability of support provided throughout a vehicle’s lifecycle.

Presenting the welcome address during the products launch on Friday, February 6, 2026 in Lagos, Mrs Ebere Anenih, Executive Director, Versat Automobile Limited said that, the introduction of the C&C U400 range of trucks into Nigeria is backed by what she describes as the Versat Aftersales Advantage which is a structured, customer-focused support system designed to maximise vehicle uptime, reduce operational disruptions, and protect customer investment in a challenging operating environment.

A key component of this strategy the Executive Director declared is spare-parts availability. She said that, Versat has established a responsive supply structure to ensure the timely availability of genuine parts for both routine maintenance and emergency repairs. This approach, the company notes, is aimed at minimising downtime, recognising that delays directly impact commercial productivity and revenue.

“At Versat Automobile, we believe that the sale of a truck is only the beginning of the relationship. The true value of any commercial vehicle brand is measured by how effectively it supports customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their trucks”.

In addition to parts supply, Versat has invested significantly in service infrastructure and technical capacity. Its service network is supported by trained and certified technicians with specialised product knowledge, capable of delivering diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services efficiently.

Continuous technical training and direct support from manufacturing partners are being deployed to ensure service delivery meets international benchmarks while remaining suited to Nigerian operating conditions.

Versat Automobile also has in place, a structured warranty programme across its truck range, providing customers with added assurance on product quality and durability, reflecting Versat’s confidence in the engineering integrity and reliability of its vehicles.
