International flight to commence operations by 29th August
The Minister for Aviation Hadi Sirika has announced that international flights will commence operations by August 29, 2020 after months of suspension of International flights due to Corona Virus
According to a tweet by the Minister, International flights will commence operations in Abuja and Lagos international airports.
Sirika stated that the guidelines for the operation of international flights will be announced later.
Sirika wrote
”Glad to announce the resumption of international flights from the 29th of August, 2020. Beginning with Lagos and Abuja as we did with the domestic flight resumption. Protocols and procedures will be announced in due course. We thank you for your patience.🙏🏽🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🙏🏽“
Meanwhile, the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has warned passengers against giving money to airport officials for Covid-19 clearance.
