Hun Sen is asking Toyota to help train cadres in automotive skills
Ichiro Kashitani, Chief Executive Officer of Toyota Tsusho Corp, has stated that if the world had more people like former Prime Minister Hun Sen, more countries would be as peaceful as Cambodia.
Kashitani made his remarks during a meeting with the former Prime Minister.
He expressed his respect and gratitude to the Senate President for receiving his delegation and he pledged to actively participate in implementing the recommendations of the Cambodian leadership, join the Royal Government to increase production and provide car skills training to the people of Cambodia.
Kashitani also outlined the progress of Toyota in Cambodia, which started in 1991:
1993 – Established T.TH.K, a Toyota service provider, and established a Toyota Suzuki office in Phnom Penh.
2009 Established Toyota (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. as a distributor of Toyota cars.
2014 Established Toyota Suzuki (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.
2016 Establishment of Poipet Industrial Park as part of the industry sector.
